“It’s so rewarding to know that what we are doing makes a lifetime impact on these families. I am humbled that I get to wake up every day knowing that I played a small role in helping a family have a permanent place to call home.”

Ben Floyd serves as the Building Superintendent at Turning Point Ministries, where he combines his extensive knowledge of residential construction with a deep passion for helping hardworking families achieve homeownership. Before joining Turning Point, Benjamin co-founded 525 Realty Group in Edmond, Oklahoma, where he guided countless clients through buying, selling, and investing in both residential and commercial properties. He also oversaw home inspections and trained inspectors, giving him a strong foundation in construction quality, safety, and standards.
Today, Ben applies that experience to every Turning Point build—ensuring each home is constructed with care, integrity, and a commitment to long-term durability. His leadership on the job site helps transform blueprints into lasting foundations for families ready to plant roots in Edmond.
Ben attends Life.Church and, when he's not on a build site, he enjoys traveling to the beach and spending time with friends at karaoke nights.
“I’ve always believed that the people who work hard to support our community deserve the chance to live in it, too. That’s what makes Turning Point special—we’re not just building houses, we’re building futures.”

Bob Launhardt serves as the Volunteer Coordinator for Turning Point Ministries, where he is instrumental in organizing and managing volunteer efforts to support the development of attainable housing in Edmond. Just before retiring from the Oil & Gas industry, Bob joined our team to assist with coordinating volunteer activities. He also contributes his time as a reading tutor with WhizKids, helping children build essential literacy skills.
Bob is married to Karla and enjoys traveling, reading, and staying fit with nearly daily workouts at the Edmond YMCA. He feels fortunate to have the opportunity to serve his community through his involvement in various nonprofit initiatives.
"I love working with our clients and future homeowners because I see the difference a stable home can make in their lives. Helping people build a foundation for their families is truly rewarding, and being part of that process—whether it's working on construction or connecting with volunteers—is what drives me every day."
